Well we are back again for another ROYAL RUMBLE, this
time though sadly i’m not with my main man 12ve-Pac for this event, you can

an interesting Royal Rumble and I don’t think many fans will walk out of this
show happy.
The kick off show surprised me with the NEW AGE OUTLAWS
winning the WWE tag team titles from the Rhodes Brothers.....
Never mind though ay, time for the show.
Match # 1 Bray Wyatt vs. Daniel Bryan
The build to this match has been rushed to hell, Bryan
joined the Wyatt family only to turn on them 2 WEEKS LATER!!! What was the
point, he should have hidden within the ranks till the Rumble match really then
throw Wyatt out to turn face again, but that’s just my booking I guess, I know
guys who would have held out even longer. Daniel Bryan has become a MAJOR fan
favourite and it is a bit of a shame that WWE don’t seem to have this guys
back, but at the end of the day his main events didn’t draw what they expected
so WWE is all about the money. Both these guys must have looked at each other
before they entered the arena and said “Lets knock this out of the park”.
Bray Wyatt wins by pinfall after hitting Bryan with the
“Sister Abigail”. Was a really good match and had some really cool moments
including Wyatt catching Bryan in mid flight and hitting him with a “Sister
Abigail” against the outside barricade. The fans seemed really into this match
but went dead at the end when Bryan lost. A lot of people think Wyatt will be
facing Cena at Wrestlemania and its looking good with that win.
Segment 1
Rene is in the back with Heyman, who says that Lesnar is
going to victimise Big Show in their match.
Josh Matthews is with the Hall of Fame PPV panel, Ric
Flair, Jim Duggan and Shawn Michaels. Talk about Lesnar vs Big Show.
Match # 2 Brock Lesnar with Paul Heyman
vs. The Big Show
Been built pretty well by the both of them so should be
interesting to watch, but this match really needs to be a pretty short match
with Lesnar winning quickly to look dominant, but I have a feeling that it’s
going to be longer than it should be. But still Lesnar is great so who cares. Lesnar pre-emptive strikes Big Show and
smashes him with a chair and continues the onslaught for a while until the ref
gets rid of the chair. The match then begins.
Wow, that was a great little match, Big Show comes back
for a minute but Lesnar ducks the KO punch and smashes Big Show with the F5 to
get the pin fall victory. Great Lesnar looked good and the match didn’t go on
for too long which is also good. Lesnar then gets back into the ring and
smashes Big Show again with a chair with Heyman cheering at ringside, beating
him so brutally that he changes chairs half way through. Brilliant. The pre and
post match beat downs have been longer than the actual match... I like it. Then
Lesnar and Heyman walk away.
Segment 2
The Shield are in the back and they talk themselves up
going into the Royal Rumble.
Rene is with Orton talking about his title match with
Cena, says he is going to beat Cena again and how no one will beat him.
Match # 3 WWE World Heavyweight
Championship match
Randy Orton (c) Vs. John Cena
The build for this match has been a little recycled with
Orton attacking Cena’s father at a show. It’s good to see Orton on top instead
of Cena but still I think the live crowds aren’t that into the Orton reign as
champion. These guys have had some good matches in the past but also some real
stinkers so this match really could go either way and with the crowd really
just wanting Bryan nonstop I imagine the chants will be varied to say the
least. We get a “WE WANT DIVAS” chant during the match which makes me laugh at
least.
The Wyatt family appear at ringside and Cena is
distracted long enough for Orton to hit the RKO to get the pin fall to retain
the title, he then leaves through the crowd avoiding the Wyatt family. The
Wyatt family then attack Cena after the match and leave him laid out after Bray
hits Cena with “Sister Abigail”.
Now I didn’t think
that was a bad match overall but the crowd really weren’t into it but I didn’t
mind it, moved Orton on as the champ and allowed Cena’s next opponent to be previewed.
Segment 3
Rene is in the back with the New Age Outlaws the new WWE
Tag Team champions, she talks about the match. Road Dogg reveals that its 14
years since they last held the tag belts.

Back to the Legends Panel with Josh Matthews, they pick
their favourites. Duggan says Ziggler, HBK says The Shield / Punk and Flair
says Batista.

My pick for this match is Batista by the way; it makes
sense if they want him to face Orton at Wrestlemania 30. “EXACTLY”

Batista (TOLD YOU SO) will be going to Wrestlemania to face
the WWE world heavyweight champion for the belt in the main event, or at least
the middle of the card. The crowd are NOT happy about that, an arena full of
“NO” chants and boos. Well people if you wanted Bryan in the main event maybe
you should have paid for Summerslam 2013 instead of illegally downloading or
streaming it! HA HA! I like Batista and will be interesting enough to see him
in the title match at Mania.
Not a bad PPV event, could have been a lot worse, the
Rumble match was really fun I thought and it’s gutting that JBL didn’t even get
to hit the clothesline, sad times. But again the PPV was quite cool. My 1 main
negative was that the tag team title match wasn’t on the card, when it really
should have been, but we can’t have everything and I know that.
Well next stop on the road to Wrestlemania 30 is
