The Dark Knight Rises Review

One Word Review:
BAT-FECTION

Actual Review:
Positives:
The cast is amazing for a start, along with the main cast you get cameos by actors that have featured in some really cool TV series such as Desmond Harrington from Dexter, Josh Stewart from Dirt, Christopher Judge from Stargate SG-1 and Will Estes from Blue Bloods. The film also gets some great cameos from characters from previous films (sorry no Joker) which does add a level of comedy to the film. As usual the standard cast of Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman just work so well together and the inclusion of actors Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt who all bring such am amazing presence to the film.

The story of the film is very well done; it does conclude certain aspects of the previous films while introducing the newer characters to the story, the first 30 minutes of the film however does give some clues as to how the film will end. At work before going to see the movie a colleague and I were discussing the film’s end and to be fair, we were both wrong, the end was a real twist and leaves you wanting a fourth film and without spoiling it, there could be a fourth film, I just fail to see they could top this one. The film has a couple of really good plot twists and some really good fight scenes, however this film doesn’t have as much fighting as the Dark Knight yet you do not really notice.

All the action scenes in the film, from fights between Batman and Bane to the latest vehicle in the Batman arsenal a helicopter called “The Bat” chasing down commandeered “Tumblers”, are very well filmed and do not seem so fast in this film, making them much easier to watch as well as follow. Anne Hathaway gets to do some serious ass kicking in this movie which is never a bad thing as she looks FANTASTIC in the skin tight outfit with the rather deadly heels, serious check the heels out!!

Negatives:
You would think that this part would be empty but unfortunately it isn’t. As with Dark Knight and Batman Begins before it, there are moments in this movie where the camera just cuts to something else with little meaning or warning. This is obviously where they have edited the film down; I would have preferred it if they had just made this film into 2 parts and kept in the excess scenes as in areas you feel very rushed as long spaces of time have supposed to have passed between scenes in the film.

Bane’s eventual downfall is a real let down, well it was for me anyhow. The whole film had built this guy up to be this complete monster and a unstoppable bad guy, yet I felt his defeat was too quick and had very little meaning which was a real shame and the main part of the film I was remotely disappointed with. Also his role in the movie gets switched just before the end of the movie; he goes from being the big bad guy to not really being the main bad guy at all. When you watch it you will understand, but for me it was the only real let down.

Overall:
This movie was amazing, without a doubt the story was brilliant, the acting was brilliant, the cast and action were without reproach. I am pretty certain I will be spending much time over the next couple of weeks in the cinema with this movie. J. It does leave it open for another film while at the same time completely closing the story up, a very rare thing to see, this is a great ending to a truly great trilogy of movies.

Out of 10 I am going to give this film a good solid 9.5, and only because of the Bane negatives otherwise this would have been a 10.

Money in the Bank 2012

Haven’t been able to catch the bulk of the build up to this PPV but judging from the card it could be interesting, good to see the likes of Tyson Kidd in the World Title Money In The Bank match, yet quite disappointed to only see 4 men in the WWE title Money In The Bank match. The final PPV before Summerslam, this should be a good chance for WWE to set something up.

Match # 1 – World Heavyweight Title Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Christian vs. Santino Marella vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Sin Cara vs. Tyson Kidd vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Tensai vs. Damien Sandow.
Not a fan of Santino, Sandow and nor am I completely sold on Tensai either, however should be good to see what Ziggler, Kidd and Sin Cara will bring to this match with their high flying antics. Had Ziggler not been included in this match then I would have given the win to Rhodes, but now I think it will be Ziggler’s night. Am surprised that WWE included Sin Cara in this match considering he hasn’t been back long from an injury caused at last year’s money in the bank PPV so will be good to see if he has the confidence to really show off in this match.

Seems Santino is scared of heights, yet the cobra isn’t. The crowd are really behind Ziggler in this match and they are certainly smart as he manages to climb the ladder to grab the briefcase. Certainly the right move to make, he should be in the title picture. The match itself was really good, Tyson got some good spots in and Sin Cara got himself killed by Tensai, it was also shocking to see how much damage Cody got to deal out too. I’m quite happy with the match and the result.

Backstage
Josh Matthews is with Sheamus, he says he is going to send Alberto Del Rio to the scrap yard.

Segment
The Miz is back to a “Miz is awesome” chant from the crowd. Tells everyone he has been away filming a movie, the Marine 3 by the way. He then adds his name to the WWE Titlte Money in the Bank match and says because he is awesome... blah blah.

This is great news, I was terrified of the WWE MITB match, 4 guys with only 1 guy who can really work, being Jericho, so is good that we got someone else in there too.

Match # 2 – World Heavyweight Championship Match
Sheamus (c) vs Alberto Del Rio
I love Del Rio, think he is awesome and have really enjoyed his more aggressive look over the last couple of months. I am a little tired of Sheamus as the champion now, would be nice to see the belt switch, but highly unlikely I think as WWE seem to really love Sheamus.

Del Rio automatically goes to work on the arm of Sheamus and very aggressive throughout the entire match. Sheamus however recovers from the onslaught and hits Del Rio with the brogue Kick for the win and he retains the world title.

Was an ok match, liked the aggressive assault from Del Rio but I guess this wasn’t his time but will give Sheamus Credit he was selling that arm. After the match Ricardo distracts Sheamus enough for Del Rio to strike and attack the champion.

Dolph Ziggler’s music hits and he runs to the ring to cash in the money in the bank, Del Rio distracts Ziggler long enough for Sheamus to recover and he launches a brogue kick at Ziggler knocking him out, so no cash in, so Ziggler still has his title match.

Match # 3
Primetime Players with A.W  vs. Epico & Primo with Rosa Mendes
The tag team champions are out at ringside on guest commentary, A.W is loud and annoying and on top of that Rosa Mendes is just HOT. Its good to see some solid tag teams being developed at the moment, ok, none of them are the quality of some of the older tag teams but they certainly have the potential to get there.

Epico and Primo win after Primo rolls up Darren Young. Primetime players talk trash to the tag team champions after the match but they back off.

A nice attempt to try and boost the ranks and level of the tag team division will be good to see if this pays off.

Match # 4 – WWE Championship match
C.M Punk (c) vs. Daniel Bryan with AJ as the Guest Referee.
I like the Punk / Bryan angle, but AJ is starting to wear on me a bit now, she seems to be bigger than the actual superstars and title in this feud. I bet Bryan and Punk have, well, you know!! I would!!

What can you say about these guys, both are awesome wrestlers and both deserve to be in the spots they have. The crowd are into both these guys immensely and they both get plenty of chants.

AJ gets knocked down quite early in the match and gets carried out by officials; she gets replaced by another referee yet does make a return later in the match to replace the ref that replaced her. Man that’s confusing. Both these guys have unleashed everything on each other from their signature moves to foreign objects like chairs and kendo sticks, then Punk backdrops Bryan from the top rope through a table and covers him for the win and retains the WWE title.

Match # 5
Tyler Rex and Curt Hawkins vs. THE RYBACK
Hey look its another smart price Goldberg PPV squash match. I guess I should be grateful now that they are using guys from the WWE rather than generic jobbers from local promotion.

Early on the tag team get a great advantage and have The Ryback taking bumps and he tag team hit some good double teams. Then of course Ryback recovers and clobbers them both, hitting the muscle buster on Tyler for the win.

Pffft. That is all.

Match # 6 – Six Diva Tag Team Match
Layla, Kaitlyn & Tamina  Snuka. Beth Phoenix, Natalya & Eve
HOT, HOT & hmmm vs. HOT, HOT & HOT
Since when has Kaitlyn been scary? Both Beth and Natalya acting like she some big scary monster who eats divas, wouldn’t that be fun. At least Layla has changed her music now, just a shame they given her Tiffany’s old music.

Layla pins Beth after hitting the neck breaker, a pretty standard divas match, shame we didn’t get to see much of Natalya.

Match # 7 – WWE Championship Money in the Bank ladder match
Chris Jericho vs. Kane vs. Big Show vs. The Miz vs. JOHN CEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNAAAAAAA
In many ways I think this will be my favourite match on the show, but I know that with Cena involved I will not like the outcome, we all know he is going to win. I would love Big Show to win this, think it would help recover some of the damage done to Big Show’s heel turn, after all he has lost pretty much every match he has had since turning heel.

Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a Kane fan, I LOVE Chris Jericho and I can tolerate Big Show and The Miz too. Cena I do like but not when he is in the WWE title picture.  This match will not be a high flyers dream but should still be good. Big Show dominates early only to receive a flurry of moves ending in Cena dropping Big Show through the announcers table with the Attitude Adjustment.

Big Show eventually recovers and has to bring in his own special ladder to hold his weight, the ladder is bigger than Big Show. Cena and Big Show are on top of the ladder and the case snaps from the chain to give Cena the case. John Cena wins money in the bank..... damn.

The match despite the ending was really good, everyone got some offense in with Big Show just looking dominant, my one negative was that Kane didn’t get to do much in this match really and neither did the Miz which is a shame.

Was quite a good PPV, didn’t bog the show down with too many backstage segments or interviews, this really made the show better for me, a little more wrestling and that can’t hurt a wrestling show can it? The next stop!! Summerslam! A major event, a long awaited DSC reunion, hopefully a special review for Summerslam.

NO WAY OUT 2012

I think it has been a good couple of years since this PPV has graced our screens, usually in February though; however this has been replaced by the ELIMINATION CHAMBER PPV event. The card for this event on paper isn’t the most attractive of cards, another Big Show vs. John Cena match is not what the doctor ordered, even with the ridiculous story stipulation added, then we have the changes that occurred to the World Title match, with Del Rio being injured his spot was replaced by Dolph Ziggler which can be argued is the better choice at this time and then the WWE Title match with CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Kane, this match has the potential to be great or a real let down, so we will see. Triple H is said to also be appearing on the show and this will hopefully see the advancement of the storyline with Brock Lesnar.
Match # 1 – World Heavyweight Championship Match
Sheamus (C) Vs. Dolph Ziggler

Shocked to see this as the 1st match of the night, really hoping this match gives Dolph the time to really showcase himself and prove that he belongs back in the World title picture. Love Ziggler as he just makes everyone he wrestles look like a million dollars, he should consider dropping Vickie as his manager at this point though and Sheamus, even though I do prefer Sheamus as a Heel.

Good reaction for Ziggler from the live crowd, Sheamus however doesn’t seem to be getting as good a reaction as he would usually get with some slight boos in there. Even a “let’s go Ziggler” chant from the crowd during the match. A couple of messed up spots and some fumbles from the announcers too, calling the “Fame-Asser” the “Zig-Zag” as an example, but some good spots including Ziggler hitting a top rope X-Factor on Sheamus. Loving how many moves that Finlay used to use are now included into Sheamus’s repertoire of moves.

Sheamus hits the “White Noise” aka the original “Celtic Cross” and then smashes Ziggler with the Brogue Kick for the 3 count victory. Actually a really good match, a couple of fumbles here and there but tremendous outside of that.

Backstage
Vinnie Mac is here, Johnny Ace stops him and says sorry about Big Show hitting Vince and Vince walks off. Oh Josh Matthews is there and tries to talk to Johnny Ace; he says he does his job with dignity even under pressure.

Match # 2 – Tuxedo Match
Santino Marella vs. Ricardo Rodriguez
Really???? Really???? Really????

Do we really need this match or car crash on a PPV event, this means you paid to watch this match.

“BORING” chant from the crowd and I couldn’t agree more, I’m sorry but this didn’t work back in 2000 when Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco were doing it, so why would it work now.

Santino Strips Ricardo to get the victory...... my goodness.

Backstage
Matt Striker is with CM Punk and asks him what his relationship is with AJ, he says there is no relationship and that he is focused on retaining his WWE title. AJ comes in, wishes him luck and kisses him on the cheek, he then leaves. God she is hot!!!!

Match # 3 – Intercontinental Championship Match
Christian (c) vs. Cody Rhodes

Love both these guys, despite just how bland Cody has been and how little coverage Christian has been given, he has been given a new t-shirt though!! Shame it looks a bit sucky. I liked Cody when he had the protective face mask, he should have kept that a little longer I think and continued him as a psycho heel rather than the “Dashing” gimmick or this newer update of the gimmick. The recent return of Christian as a face was a bit abrupt but has been interesting and good to see him going straight into a storyline with a guy is also very good at his job.

A great tornado DDT from Christian on the outside, also a top rope hurricanrana to add to that, Cody focusing on the shoulder of Christian but they not really selling except on the announcing and Cody is still using Hardcore Holly’s moves in his matches as he hit Christian with the rope hung gut kick and then the Alabama Slam.

Christian hits a spear after ducking the “Beautiful disaster” kick to pin Cody and retain the championship. Brilliant match, I really enjoyed it, maybe even more than the opener with its multiple false finishes and it’s great to see Christian and Cody in action.

Match # 4 - #1 Contenders Match for the Tag Team Championship
Epico & Primo vs. Justin Gabriel & Tyson Kidd vs. Titus O’Neil and Darren Young vs. The Usos

Didn’t know the WWE had 4 tag teams anymore to be honest. Tyson and Justin just feel random in this match; never seen them actually tag up before, maybe on NXT or Superstars. Epico and Primo are a good team and with Rosa Mendes at ringside they are all the more likable. The Usos don’t get much coverage but from what I have seen they are getting some support, but with the lack of tag team matches that mean anything it will be hard to truly break out. The “Primetime players” as they are calling themselves are just 2 more rejects from NXT but at least they getting on TV and now PPV, which can only help them get their spots.

Gosh they need to show more Rosa Mendes, why is it that Jerry Lawler gets all the good views? :-/

Tyson Kidd hits a massive Hurricanrana on Primo into all the other wrestlers waiting outside resulting in a huge “Holy Shit” chant.

AW throws Primo back into the ring allowing Darren Young to hit a Gutbuster to pin Primo. AW joins The Prime Time Players.

Good match with some nice spots, shame that tag teams in WWE don’t mean that much because you have a good base for a fairly solid tag division.

SEGMENT
Triple H comes out and heads to the ring, not even remotely selling the “Broken” arm he received by Brock Lesnar. He says he became a wrestler because it’s all he ever wanted to do and also because he never wanted a real job, but now he has one, hilarious. He challenges Brock Lesnar to a match at Summerslam. Good to know that they are going ahead with Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar, it should be quite a good match and means that if Brock does win then he isn’t going over anyone on the main roster.

Backstage
Bryan is warming up and AJ interrupts, she tells him good luck and then kisses him on the cheek and leaves.

Match # 5 – Divas Championship match
Beth Phoenix vs. Layla (c)
Not really fussed about Layla other than her looks to be honest, think they should change her entrance music as it is just Michelle McCool’s entrance music. Beth is awesome and it’s a shame that there is no one who can give her a really good wrestling match currently on the WWE roster.

Layla steals Beth’s tiara and runs round the ring with it, ha!! Layla hits Beth with the neck breaker to get the pinfall victory and retain the Divas championship. Ok match, wasn't too interested to be honest.

Backstage
AJ finds Kane, she wishes him good luck and also kisses him on the cheek and then they make out.... there is something quite hot about it too. Kane then leaves, AJ looks shocked!!

Match # 6 – Hunico vs. Sin Cara
Just something I want to highlight now, is it me or has everyone changed their colour scheme to red and black??? Sheamus has, Cody Rhodes has and now Sin Cara has.

These two work so well together and I think they have been giving consistent performances on TV so they should do the same on PPV. Sin Cara pins Hunico after using his spinning face plant.

Very unusual, there wasn’t as much high flying from Sin Cara as usually expected some good moves from Hunico, these guys are very good at what they do and Sin Cara is improving with more action inside a WWE size ring.

Match # 7 – WWE Championship Match
CM Punk (c) vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Kane

What can I say except “YES! YES! YES!” This match should be very good in theory but some would say that with the addition of Kane to the mix it could be a car crash match. I am a big Kane fan however and he has been made to look very dominant leading into this match. The story of this match with the involvement of AJ makes for a funny twist, looking forward to seeing how her involvement influences the match.

I am a huge Kane fan and have been since I started watching WWE back in 2000, love the whole “Big Red Machine” gimmick and how his character evolved slightly to make him different from the Undertaker, especially like him since his return with the mask. Daniel Bryan is just awesome, the whole “Yes” thing has taken off very well and he has embraced it. CM Punk is awesome too, wouldn’t say he was the best in the world but he is very good.

Great double team effort during the match by CM Punk and Kane, together hitting the doomsday device on Daniel Bryan. In this match Kane has taken more shots to the face then Jenna Jameson, he just keeps getting smacked. Shockingly just as Kane is about to tombstone CM Punk, AJ runs out and jumps on the apron only for Punk to reverse and throw Kane into her. This then leads Punk to connect with the GTS on Kane for the pin fall victory and retains the WWE championship.

Great match that had some great spots and the choke slam that Punk took from Kane was brilliant and he sold it like he had been shot. Brilliant match! Lots of YES chants and CM PUNK chants.

Match # 8 Ryback vs. Two Generic Jobbers
We have another Goldberg light squash match. The rumours are that the reason he just faces no namers is due to the fact no one on the roster wants to face him, they worried about him being so rough with people. The one good thing they are doing with him is that every match he does something new, even if it is just 1 move, it does add to the character... I guess. He obviously wants to face 3 guys as he keeps screaming “feed me 3”.

Ryback wins after about 3 minutes with the muscle buster. As my mate Jim says “Goldberg with fist pumping action”.

Match # 9 Cage Match
Big Show vs. John Cena
I think the stipulation for this match is that if Big Show wins then John Cena is fired, if Cena wins then Johnny Ace is fired. We all know that regardless of what happens with this match we all know that no one is getting fired.

I must admit that I never saw the heel turn coming for the Big Show, that’s what happens when you don’t watch RAW every week folks. The thing is all the stuff Big Show has said about himself since turning heel is pretty much exactly what Chris Jericho said when they formed the Jeri-Show back in 2009, good to know that WWE was paying attention. I do like the Big Show, love the potential you have in him to just be so dominant, yet we all know he isn’t going to beat Cena.

I also must be one of the few people in the 18 – 30 age bracket that actually likes John Cena; I think he has the ability to really pull a good match out of the bag when required to, if you don’t need to then why bother, right? Why take the risk of him being injured and then being off TV when he is your biggest earner.

The crowd is hot for this match from what I can tell, lots of “let’s go Cena” “CENA sucks” chants coming from the crowd. A run in fest with Brodus Clay, Kofi Kingston, Zak Ryder, Santino Marella and Alex Riley all running in to stop Big Show escaping the cage. John Cena escapes the cage to win the match and grabs Johnny Ace to hit him with the Attitude Adjustment, before he does though, Vinnie Mac grabs a microphone and tells Johnny that he is FIRED!! John follows this with the attitude adjustment through an announcers table.

We all saw this coming though didn’t we, I would imagine that Johnny Ace will return as Brocks manager I would assume when he returns to face HHH. My thoughts on this event are positive; I quite enjoyed the undercard matches with the exception of the squash match and the divas match. The World Title and WWE title matches were really good and the IC title match was also very good. Overall I really enjoyed this PPV. The next event is the MITB PPV event, hopefully Wade Barrett will be back by then and we can get some new talent in the upper card.

SOS MOVIE REVIEW - AVENGERS ASSEMBLE

"Never underestimate the entertainment value of, Hulk Smash."

A celebration of specialness, Joss Whedon's slick blockbuster "The Avengers" presents what may be the ultimate team: half a dozen Marvel Comics superheroes for the price of one.

Plot
When global security is threatened by Loki, “adopted” brother of Thor, Nick Fury and his team will need all their powers to save the world from disaster.

Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D, an international peace keeping agency, sets the Avengers Initiative into action.

The Avengers Initiative is a who's who of Marvel Super Heroes, with Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow all playing their part to restore peace.

 Review
You don't need me to tell you it's the culmination of a five-year plan that began with Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury taking Tony Stark aside at the end of the first "Iron Man" to tip him off as to the "Avengers Initative." There is a bigger picture, he told him -- and here it is: The be-all but not (they're hoping) the end-all of the current craze for CGI-enhanced superheroics.

Firstly I should say that I was pleasantly suprised by the implementation of the characters whose individual outings where less than enjoyable to me! With the exception the Iron Man films which are awesome. The rest just bored me to tears. The most disappointing was The First Avenger's outing only beaten by two Hulk outings which where outshone by a video game made for the last generation of consoles.

With interspersing flip one-liners, a host of larger-than-life characters and the usual flurry of fight-and-flight scenes, the film is never less than amusing. Still, it's never more than amusing either. Marvel Studios has made it a point of pride to diverge from the grim severity popularized in the DC / Warner Bros Batman films. The lightness is fun but it doesn't offer much of a foundation on which to build an epic.

And let's face it, there's more than a whiff of opportunism about a project that pits a defrosted World War II hero, Captain America (Chris Evans), an inventor-industrialist, Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), the pagan lightning god, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), a scientist with anger-management issues, Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and SHIELD agents Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) against the Norse god of mischief, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and a legion of marauding aliens. In 3-D, which I was impressed by for the first time ever and easily warrants paying the 3D tax which seems to be tacked onto the already ridiculously high cinema prices.

The movie delivers the kind of pleasures usually reserved for fan fiction or playground stand-offs. Not surprisingly, Robert Downey Jr.'s flip, cynical Stark (Iron Man) gets a good measure of the movie's best lines, bouncing off Steve Rogers' (Captain America) boy scout idealism and Thor's guileless sledgehammer style (sometimes literally). Whedon also crafts a couple of choice scenes beautifully tailored for Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow, a far more interesting character here than she appeared to be in "Iron Man 2."

The films secret weapon is most definitely The Hulk. Mark Ruffalo is the third actor to play Bruce Banner/Hulk in the past decade, and even though the soft-spoken star would seem to have the longest fuse (when we first see him he's tending to the sick in an Indian slum) he's immediately both more dangerous and more fun than either Edward Norton or Eric Bana in the same role. Whedon gives him a long build up.

For the first hour of the movie we're invited to speculate along with his new allies just how much havoc Banner's rampaging id might cause. Then the lead comes off!

If at this point you are still wondering whether or not to see this film? I have some words of wisdom that will help you decide!

Never underestimate the entertainment value of “Hulk Smash”.

That's probably the most important lesson to be drawn here, and one that clearly hasn't been lost on the filmmakers, who have reportedly signed Ruffalo to a six-picture deal.

Beyond that, the movie wants us to believe that these action figures have learned to play nice and work as a team -- which is good news for humanity, but maybe not so promising for the inevitable sequels. A climax on the war-torn streets of Manhattan could almost be an extended outtake from a "Transformers" movie.

This movie pull no punches (hammers, shields or smashes) and is easily one of the best comic book films I have seen in a while. All we have to do now is see how Warner Brothers and DC Comics respond with The Dark Knight Rises coming to the big screen later this year.

 Verdict

If it's a Friday Night SmackDown you're after, "Avengers" gets the job done. The 3D is very impressive and if you wanted more reasons to go see the movie and pay the extra £2 I have two for you! "Scarlett Johansson's breasts"

Beyond that there is enough entertainment value to keep both male and female patrons entertained as well as the young and the old alike. Funny all the way through and genuine with the 3D. Go see this film while you can

10/10 mindless, hysterical fun with explosions and miss Johansson wearing a skintight cat suit! What more could you need?

 [Big Boss's Notes]
Must agree with the review, I only saw the film in 2D but I'm not a big fan of 3D. Scarlett Johansson's breasts and ass are certainly up there with the films main assets and she is phenominal. However a couple of my own thoughts:

1ST - During the big fight at the end of the film, where does Hawkeye keep getting them arrows from? He is firing and yet the stock doesn't seem to be running out. :-/

2nd - Who came up with Captain America's costume? Why couldn't they stick to the version they used in the FIRST AVENEGER or at least a similar version. The helmet just looks a tad ... well... GAY.

WWE TOP 50 SUPERSTARS

Just sat and watched disc 1 of this 3 disc set and by god who came up with this list? Any list of top WWE SUPERSTARS where HULK HOGAN is 23rd is seriously faulty. I am not the biggest Hulk Hogan fan but even I know he should be in the top 5, without him the WWE probably wouldn't be as big as it is.

Then Rey Mysterio, Eddie G and even Batista being in the list is just stupid, Rey maybe worth a spot but not a top 15 spot like he got, he placed higher than Hogan!!!! I personally couldn't come up with a top 50 list in any order but I could just do a general 50 top stars in WWE history and let me tell you now Rey, Eddie and Batsista wouldn't be in there. the list had a lot of great talent included in its ranks, do not get me wrong and I am not taking anything away from the likes of Batista, Eddie and Rey but having Eddie & Rey in higher spots than Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan is a joke.

The main positives about this list is that WWE decided to include the likes of gorgeous George and Lou Thesz in the list, guys who never stepped in a WWE ring as far as I know, at least not to wrestle anyhow. The number 1 pick on the list was HBK, was that the right choice? I'm not sure, would certainly be in the top 5 for me, it would be a toss up between him, Stone Cold and the Undertaker for the #1 spot, followed very closely by Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Bret Hart just for sheer star value.

the macthes included are a little odd in places but welcomed as there is a 2 MAN POWER TRIP tag match on there which is cool. ;-)

The DVD overall was a tad confusing with the inclusion of more recent stars in higher spots then wrestlers who would be considered to have made a higher impact but not a bad way to kill some time before going out to poker.

P.S
I haven't done anything in a while, stresses of work, but got some things to get posted including some stuff from the SITE OF SHITE. So hope to be back in more often. PEACE.

Over the Limit 2012

Haven't really had a chance to write a full review for this PPV, so just did a brief recap and some of my own thoughts. Maybe for NO WAY OUT I will get some more free time. Thanks

I didn’t even know this PPV was on, hence why I am behind getting this up. Sorry! L

1st match – WWE Tag Team championship
R-Truth & Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Swaggler (Jack Swagger & Dolph Ziggler)
Unfortunately I lost a lot of interest in the tag division after JERI-SHOW lost the tag titles, there hasn’t been any other team giving me a reason to care about this division and the booking of it hasn’t helped either. The main point in this match for me is that Dolph Ziggler should be main eventing and he has somehow dropped down to jobber for the likes of Brodus Clay, which is a damn shame cause the man is simply brilliant at his job. Kofi and Truth I don’t really have a problem with, think Kofi is where he should be in the card and Truth never really connected with me personally. Swagger should be doing better than what he is, if his microphone skills were a bit better he could easily be top tier.

Kofi pins Ziggler after hitting trouble in Paradise. Champions retain the titles. This is sad, Ziggler shouldn’t be jobbing to Kofi Kingston, and however this is my humble opinion.

Backstage –
Eve and David Otunga tell Tyler Rex and Curt Hawkins to confiscate signs that they deem offensive to Johnny Ace

2nd Match – Divas Championship Match
Layla (c) vs. Beth Phoenix
Must admit I do like Beth Phoenix, she is gook looking and obviously can slap bitches around and that’s what I like. I don’t really like Layla, she is a good looking woman don’t get me wrong but as a wrestler she just doesn’t get me interested.

Layla hits the neck breaker for the win, retaining the Divas title match. Fairly good match for a Divas match even on a PPV.

Backstage –
Matt Striker talks to Randy Orton about when he face Sheamus on Smackdown. Chris Jericho enters and tells Orton that he will win the World Championship.

3rd Match – World Heavyweight Championship Match
Sheamus (c) vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho
I like everyone in this match no exceptions. Huge Chris Jericho fan, very big on Alberto Del Rio, really enjoy Orton’s work and Sheamus is growing on me more and more all the time.

Chris Jericho hasn’t been as good in my opinion though since his return this year, at first the silence and teasing was brilliant but once he actually began his program with Punk the whole thing just fell apart for me, not taking anything away from their matches because they were brilliant but I just feel like it is a bit half arsed.

Randy Orton, have been a big fan of his since 2009 when he was in the Legacy and was becoming “the viper”, his matches were good and his character suited the heel persona he had. Now i must admit the face turn has hurt the character, but he had gotten to a point where people don’t want to hate him anymore, so we have to face facts he is going to be face for some time.

Sheamus has grown on me, when he first arrived I couldn’t really stand him, but when he started getting more main event matches and some bigger profile matches I began to enjoy his work a bit more. Love the brogue Kick and I am enjoying the fact he now incorporating more of Finlay’s moves into his arsenal such as the actual “Celtic Cross” and the standing senton splash.

Alberto Del Rio has impressed me since his first match, you would think that the same tactics used in every match would bore me but somehow it doesn’t when Del Rio does it. Always look forward to him hitting the arm bar.

Sheamus pins Jericho after hitting White Noise (Finlay’s Celtic Cross) and retains the WORLD TITLE. Was a brilliant match, everyone got their moment in the match, think it was a good choice to have Sheamus retain.

Backstage –
Eve and Cody Rhodes talking, Christian interrupts and tells Cody he will be facing him for the IC title tonight.

4th Match –
The Miz vs Brodus Clay
OMG, this is hilarious, how the Miz has fallen, he gone from headlining Wrestlemania 27 with John Cena and retaining the WWE championship to jobbing to this guy!! Actually it can get worse, the Miz dancing like Jacko, thank god Brodus came out.

I found Brodus interesting for about two minutes and now I am not so sure anymore, he is already boring me. The Miz on the other hand has dropped down the rankings like a rock, this time a year ago Brodus would have been jobbing to Miz and it’s a shame to see Miz now just jobbing.

Brodus Clay pins The Miz after hitting him with the splash. What a shame. L

5th Match – Intercontinental Match
Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Christian
It’s great to see Christian back, I really like him, prefer him face rather than heel. I am quite a fan of Cody too, hoping this match will lead him to getting a shot at the World Title somewhere down the line, think he deserves it, however the null hypothesis on that idea is that he will end up like Ziggler, which would be truly unjust.

Christian hits the “Killswitch” for the win and gains the Intercontinental championship. This is also the 2nd PPV in a row that a returning superstar has been put straight into a title match and wins the belt.

Backstage –
Josh Matthews talks to CM Punk, asking him how he is feeling. AJ comes in an wishes him luck.... God she is hot!!!

6th Match – WWE Championship Match
CM Punk (c) vs. Daniel Bryan
All I can say is “YES! YES! YES!”, but the question is: is YES the new WHAT. Let’s face it, these guys are just awesome, both have worked very hard to get to where they are, both men are respected and beloved by the crowds and audience.

Been a fan of CM Punk since he joined the Nexus in 2011, must admit to not being really taken by him until then and like his move set a lot, with the addition of the Macho Man elbow drop.

Only recently become a fan of D Bryan and only because of the YES chanting to be honest and I DO NOT like the LeBell Lock being renamed the YES lock, sounds awful.

CM Punk beats Daniel Bryan with a roll up to retain the WWE Championship; however Punk did tap to the YES Lock, just after the 3 count was completed. Brilliant match, upto this point must be the best match of the night and I can’t imagine it getting any better.

Backstage –
Eve and Otunga talk to Teddy Long and they exchange insults.

7th Match –
Comacho vs Goldberg..... I mean Ryback
Huge Goldberg chant from the crowd. Don’t like the gimmick, it sucks.

Ryback wins, obviously, however we did get to see a little more from him in this match, unlike his previous matches it wasn’t all over in 5 seconds and was good to see him actually take a hit this time.

8th match –
Johnny Ace vs John Cena
Ok, this match just sees Johnny getting the stuffing beaten out of him. Cena beats him round to the announcers table where he sets him up to do some commentary, where Johnny gets a hilarious Booker T quote in before getting thrown back in the ring by Cena, who then locks him in the STF for 10 seconds two times before heading out to grab a drink of water, which he then pours all over Johnny Ace and then proceeds to bring in a fire extinguisher and shoots it at Johnny. He then dumps the trash bin on top of Johnny’s head and as Cena stops Johnny’s escape he gets blindsided and thrown into the ring steps.

Johnny Ace now in control of Cena and brings the steel chair in the ring and begins to level Cena with it. Cena quickly recovers and stars to smack Johnny Ace around once again using the chair for a 5 knuckle shuffle; Johnny however comes back with a low blow as Cena goes to pick him up. Johnny then escapes only to be cut off by the Big Show, who takes Johnny back to the ring, he gets up and Cena sets him up for the AA but Big Show Kos Cena with the WMD and Johnny Ace crawls over and gets the 3 count win.

Hilarious, I didn’t actually see that coming I must admit but hadn’t paid much attention to what was going on with Big Show.

A bit annoyed that this was the main event, but guess it had to be, we saw some good matches from the World Champion and WWE champion, then a Big Show heel turn, Christian’s return and IC title win. Will be interesting to see what happens next. Take care folks; any questions... keep them to yourself ;-)

Extreme Rules 2012 recap

Let me tell you now, I haven’t paid much attention to the build of this PPV which is strange as I do like Brock Lesnar!! I find it funny as well that most of the matches on this card are the same match but with different names, Chicago street fight and extreme rules matches are surely the same thing!!

But now let’s begin shall we!!

Match # 1 – Kane vs. Randy Orton (Falls Count Anywhere Match)
Interesting build to this match, both beating the others dad up, sounds like a school yard thing. Must admit to the new Masked Kane is growing on me, does look like a crazed serial killer. The match kicks off with both men exchanging blows until Kane knocks Orton out of the ring and he goes out straight for the cover but only gets the 2 count. Kane goes straight for the lead pipe but Orton stops Kane from using it and returns the favour and smacks Kane with the pipe knocking him out of the ring. They battle out into the crowd exchanging shots as they move throughout the arena, Kane executes and awesome running dropkick on Orton in the crowd, Kane gets the advantage and keeps on top of Orton in the crowd however Orton begins his comeback and they move towards the main stage where Orton scores with the dropkick and goes for the cover but he only gets a 2 count.

Kane recovers, hits the big boot, goes for a cover and only gets 2. Kane continues to whale on Orton until they wind up in the backstage area of the building, Kane throws Orton into anything he can find until Orton gets a 2nd wind and Just as Kane begins to recover Zack Ryder decides to interrupt, giving Orton enough time to hit Kane with a backbreaker, yet he only gets a 2 count on the cover, allowing Kane to recover once again and again Kane goes back on the offence. Now back into the main arena and Orton fights back with shots to Kane, after which he rolls him back in the ring. Orton comeback (WWE 12) but he slides out of the ring and grabs a chair from under the ring, Orton levels Kane with the chair as he focuses on Kane’s back, Kane to the outside and Orton follows and begins to take apart an announcers table, but Kane tries for the chokeslam yet Orton reverses and hits the hangman DDT off the table, goes for the pin fall but only gets a 2 count.

Kane goes up for the flying clothesline but Orton stops him, goes up for a superplex and lands it on Kane, he goes for the cover and again Kane kicks out after 2. Orton gets set up for the RKO but walks into a chokeslam from Kane, he goes for the pin but only scores a 2 count, now Kane goes for the chair, signals for the tombstone piledriver, Orton reverses and hits the RKO on the chair and gets the 3 count for the win.  Was very good, lots of near falls and my own complaint was that they didn’t do too much wrestling, but I guess with these types of matches that is always the case.

Backstage Segment #1
Eve and Johnny Ace are in the back and EVE is looking HOTTTTTT!!! Eve tells Johnny that she has a suprise, she brings in Teddy Long and he pours them a drink and they toast to “People Power”. Johnny answers his phone to HHH and he leaves.

Match # 2 – Brodus Clay vs. Dolph Ziggler
OH NO!!!!! 1st we have Brodus out with Hornswoggle and the dancers, then Vickie and Jack Swagger with Dolph. This will be the 1st match of Brodus’s I will have actually watched. Brodus instantly over powers Ziggler, Swagger distracts Brodus enough to allow Dolph to dropkick him to the outside where Swagger attacks Brodus. As Brodus gets back in Dolph attacks and hits the fame-asser but only gets a 2 count in the cover. Brodus comes back but Ziggler hits him with a dropkick and then jumps on his back for the sleeper hold, Brodus stands up and powers out of the sleeper hold, however Ziggler goes right back to the attack. He tries to hit a suplex but Brodus reverses and again gets distracted by Swagger but this time Ziggler runs into a head butt and then Brodus hits a giant splash for the 3 count pin fall. Short and sweet but its a shame that Ziggler is now in the class of JOBBER!!!! :-(

Match # 3 – Intercontinental Championship Match
Cody Rhodes vs The Big Show (c) (Tables match)
Big Show goes straight on the attack and just pummels Cody hitting a huge back body drop, Cody rolling to the outside, Big Show follows and hits Cody with the SHHH chop. Big Show sets up a table and he attempts to take Cody to it, he reverses and tries to comeback but Big Show throws him into the barricade. Show then throws a table into the ring, begins setting up the table in the corner, goes to throw Cody through the table but Cody reverses with the beautiful disaster kick. Cody tries again to comeback but Big Show shoulder barges him to the outside and again hits the SHHH chop on poor Cody before throwing him back in the ring.

Cody rolls back and Show follows, Cody gets some kicks in before Show throws him down, Show throws another table back into the ring, Big Show goes to climb back into the ring but Cody hits Big Show and one foot lands through a table costing him the match. New IC champion is Cody Rhodes. Show gets back into the ring tho, sets up another table and chokeslams Cody through it, leaving Cody laying. The crowd are chanting “1 more time” so Big Show obliges and launches Cody out of the ring through another table.

Don’t understand why they have had Big Show drop the belt so quickly, not had it a month yet, also why the match was over so quickly. Really thought Cody could have moved up towards the world title had he not won this match.

Backstage Segment #2
Matt Striker talking to Daniel Bryan, he asks him why he thinks he has the advantage over Sheamus, he tells him some reasons.  Ending the interview with “YES YES YES”. AJ watches on from the background.

Match # 4 World Heavyweight Championship Match
Sheamus (c) vs. Daniel Bryan (Two out of 3 falls match)
I wonder how long it is going to take before Bryan becomes a face again, as the “YES” chants are over in a huge way, it even being said that “YES” is the new “WHAT”. This Chicago crowd are booing the good guys and cheering the bad guys so far in this PPV and this match is no different. Sheamus takes the early advantage with some power over Bryan’s technicality. Sheamus locks in a Texas cloverleaf but Bryan gets to the ropes, however Sheamus goes back on the attack. Bryan comeback to knock Sheamus out of the ring, but when Bryan goes for the dive Sheamus counters. After both guys get back in the ring Bryan recovers and gains momentum to go on the offensive for the 1st real time in this match.

Bryan striking Sheamus and going for multiple holds. Bryan then unleashes some European uppercuts and goes for a roll up but only gets a 2 count. Sheamus eventually recovers and hits his ring apron chest shots followed by a fall away slam; he tries to get Bryan in the corner only for Bryan to reverse into a schoolboy pin but only gets a 2 count. Bryan gets Sheamus into the corner and attempts to go for a hurricanrana but Sheamus counters and hits the giant shoulder block on Bryan knocking him down. Bryan rolls out but Sheamus goes to suplex him back in, Bryan counters and Sheamus ends up on the outside, he goes for the suicide dive but Sheamus reverses and goes for the Celtic Cross power bomb with Bryan reversing to attempt a “YES” Lock. Sheamus powers out of it and he then runs into the turnbuckle, this encourages Bryan to aim for Sheamus’s shoulder. Bryan kicks the shoulder of Sheamus multiple times until the referee breaks it up and disqualifies Bryan.

SHEAMUS 1 – BRYAN 0

This doesn’t faze Bryan who goes right back to the shoulder and locks in the “YES” lock on Sheamus, despite his slow crawl towards the ropes he passes out and Bryan gets the submission win.

SHEAMUS 1 – BRYAN 1

Bryan gets a “YES” chant going from the crowd, however there is also a “NO” chant going as well HA! The doctor clears Sheamus for a 3rd round. Bryan runs at Sheamus and in one last surge Sheamus kicks Bryan square in the face and Sheamus crawls for the cover and Bryan kicks out after 2.  Bryan gets back up and begins kicking the shoulder of Sheamus until he kicks him in the head and goes for the cover but only gets 2. Bryan heads up to the top rope, Sheamus intercepts and begins punching Bryan, he goes up to Bryan to go for a superplex however Bryan reverses with head butts and pushes Sheamus off, goes for a splash but Sheamus rolls out of the way. Bryan goes for another running attack in the corner but Sheamus comes back with some hammers and the Irish Curse backbreaker, stalks Bryan and hits him with the Brogue Kick and gets the 3 count for the win to retain the title.

SHEAMUS 2 – BRYAN 1

Was an ok match, was good that they didn’t stretch out the 2nd and 3rd falls, I hate 2 out of 3 falls matches that are just too long.

Match # 5 – Ryback vs. Jobber 1 and 2 (didn’t care about their names)
They cut some shite promo that no one cares about. Ryback makes his way to the ring, like the fact that people seem to have forgotten that this guy is Skip Sheffield who was in the Nexus. People are chanting “Goldberg” Ha!!! Jobber 1 does some kicks and fails miserably to get slammed around by Ryback, he then grabs the other jobber bringing him in the ring and hitting him with the clothesline, then hits him with some crazy jawbreaker thing. He then goes back to jobber 1 and hits him with the fisherman’s buster, then covers them both for the 3 count.

Well at least he is getting the PPV pay check. I am agreeing with the crowd, Im seeing some similarities with Goldberg.

Backstage segment # 3
Matt Striker interviews CM Punk, he says that Jericho won’t beat him in Chicago.

Match # 6 – WWE Championship Match
CM Punk (c) vs. Chris Jericho (Chicago street fight)
Crowd are very pro CM Punk, obviously. Both men selling the street fight idea and are both wearing jeans instead of their standard ring attire. Good build up to this match with Jericho using mind games to try and hinder Punk, so I am imagining that this match won’t have much in the way of technical wrestling.

Punk goes straight for Jericho and after grabbing a kendo stick begins to unload on Jericho but Jericho rolls out of the ring and runs away but Punk stops a counter by Jericho and again smacks him with the kendo stick. Punk then grabs a chair and positions it in the corner; Jericho tries to hide behind the ref, luring Punk in before eye poking him and following it up with a dropkick. With Punk on the ring apron Jericho hits the springboard dropkick knocking him off the apron, Jericho then follows him out and begins his assault around the ring side area.

Punk gets his comeback and tries to go for the high knee in the corner but Jericho dodges and Punk falls to the outside where Jericho follows, talks trash to Punk’s “Sister” who then slaps him, ha. This then sends Punk into a rage and he beats Jericho towards the announce table where he tries to hit a piledriver but Jericho escapes and levels Punk with the top of the announcers table.

Jericho locks Punk in a chin lock and the crowd is going mad, Punk gets up and back suplexes Jericho, Jericho is back up though but Punk fights him off. Punk tries to go for a springboard clothesline but stumbles it and Jericho lands some shots with the kendo stick, then he trash talks but Punk rolls him up for a 2 count. Jericho back in control, grabs a beer from the outside and pours it all over Punk’s face before punching him. Jericho goes and grabs another beer from under the ring and brings it back in the ring, this time Punk kicks him in the gut and grabs the kendo stick again and begins assaulting Jericho. Punk hits a swinging neck breaker on Jericho and follows it up with the high knee into a bulldog combo, he then follows that up with a kendo stick low blow, he signals for the GTS. Jericho reverses though and runs into a powerslam from Punk.

Punk goes up to the top rope, looking for the elbow drop, Jericho counters knocking Punk down, Jericho throws some shots at Punk before going up for a superplex, Punk reveres knocking Jericho off, this allows Punk to hit the flying elbow drop, he goes for the cover but only gets a 2 count. Punk goes back for the GTS and again Jericho counters into a bulldog, goes for a lionsault, Punk halts the attempt and tries again for the GTS, Jericho again counters and throws Punk into the chair he set up earlier, tries for a pin but only gets a 2 count. This is very hard to keep up with, my god they reverse everything.

Punk tries to pick up Jericho but gets a codebreaker for his trouble, Jericho goes for the walls of Jericho, Punk crawls towards the ropes and makes it there but they do not cause a break dude to rules, Punk pulls out a fire extinguisher from the ring and sprays Jericho. Punk gets up and nails Jericho with the extinguisher, follows Jericho to the outside and kicks him onto the table; Punk goes back up top and launches himself at Jericho dropping him with the elbow drop!!!!!!! Will also mention that Punk nearly lost his balance while up top, which made me giggle slightly. Punk rolls Jericho back into the ring, goes for a cover and only gets a 2, Punk locks the anaconda vice on Jericho but he grabs a kendo stick and hits Punk with it to break the hold. Jericho tries to hit Punk again with the stick but Punk hits him with a chair first but as Punk tries to gain momentum, Jericho reveres with the codebreaker, goes for the cover and only gets a 2 count.

Jericho picks up Punk for a GTS however Punk reverses and hits the GTS and gets the 3 count for the win.

VERY GOOD match, the crowd loved it, am now wondering if that girl is his sister, she is pretty hot!! ;-). Its a shame that Jericho has jobbed constantly to Punk, but I guess it does no damage to Jericho, he is still the “Best in the World”.

Backstage Segment # 4
Eve walking backstage and bumps into Beth Phoenix and tells her she not cleared to compete. The Bella’s think they can go home, but Eve says they got an opponent for the Divas championship.

Match # 7 Divas Championship Match
Nikki Bella (c) vs. Layla
The Bellas cut a promo on how they will keep the Divas title. Layla comes out to barely any reaction!
Nikki aims for the knee of Layla, as this I am hearing was her injury, Nikki in control for most of the match. Layla tries to come back but Bella double team occurs, the switch occurs and Brie enters, but gets a neck breaker and pinned. Layla wins the Divas title. Nice way to bring her back and with most of the other divas engaged in some way or another this was nice to see.

Backstage segment # 5
Matt catches up with Johnny Ace, wants to know what HHH wanted earlier but Johnny blows him off.

Match # 8 – Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena (Extreme Rules Match)
Love and I mean LOVE the build to this match, they just beaten each other and talked trash and it is building to an awesome confrontation. These guys had a good match at Backlash 2003, 9 years later we are hoping for the same if not better.  On a side note I will say that I like Lesnars new ring gear, combines wrestling attire with MMA style attire and also Lesnar is HUGE!! Guy looks like he could bench press a small house!! Already noticing a good dynamic as no one in the crowd likes either guy! Ha! Cena is out and wearing the old school metal chain & padlock around his neck.

Cena runs at Lesnar and he falls victim to a shoot and Lesnar begins pounding on Cena, they get up and Lesnar levels him with a clothesline. Cena is busted open already!!! Brock just smashing him until the ref separates them; Lesnar has a huge smile on his face. Cena recovers and Lesnar again gets on top of him and is just mauling him, he then throws him out of the ring. Lesnar runs at Cena but it gets reversed and Cena goes for the AA, Lesnar reverses and hits multiple German suplexes. Brock picks him up but Cena reverses and in the scuffle the ref is knocked to the outside.

Cena goes for the chain but Lesnar catches him and hits some huge shoulder barges in the corner, Brock then locks in a arm bar style submission and then throws Cena into the ring post and then out of the ring. Brock follows and repeats but this time throwing him into the barricade before putting Cena back into the ring, Lesnar in pursuit and picks up the chain for himself. Wrapped around his fist Lesnar decides against it and throws the chain down and just continues to attack Cena, then ties Cena’s legs with the chain before hitting him with another huge clothesline.  Brock ends up using Cena’s legs to tie him to the ringpost and smacks him again before throwing him to the ringside.

The ref is still knocked out!!!! Cena is out of the restraints and is back on the attack; however Lesnar will have none of it and throws Cena into the ring steps. Brock puts the ref back in the ring, notices Cena crawling in with the chain and as he stops him, Cena goes for the AA, Lesnar reverses in to the F5 but hits the ref, goes for the cover and a new ref comes down and begins the count that only gets a 2 count. Brock not happy and throws the new ref out of the ring, he then grabs the ring steps and throws them into the ring. Cena again tries for a comeback, but Lesnar quickly overcomes Cena and locks in the kimora again but Cena powers out and drops Brock on the ring steps.

Cena is up top and flies at Brock but Brock moves out of the way and Cena crashes down hard. Brock is back up and stands waiting for Cena in the ring. As Cena gets on the apron, Lesnar runs at him and both men go flying over the top rope to the floor!!! Lesnar is back up and in the ring, but Cena has the chain in his hand and as Lesnar flies at him he strikes Brock with the chain. Lesnar is bleeding too, Cena stalking Brock and he hits the AA on the ring steps and gets the 3 count for the win!!!!

WOW!!! That was intense; Lesnar was just killing him for the whole match!! I originally thought that Cena bleeding was an accident but with Lesnar also getting cut then I will side with that it was a worked move. Cena sits on the ring steps and has a microphone, says that Chicago is a wrestling town and that he went to the extreme in his match and thanked the crowd for coming.

SUMMARY
Wow, I enjoyed the show much more than I thought I would, was surprising though just how many superplex attempts there were in that PPV.  Overall was a good show, just a shame we seem to be witnessing the demise of Dolph Ziggler as a potential main event talent. Also that instead of having good wrestlers on the show or say the Tag Team champions or US champion, we got RYBACK instead!!  If you are interested then in the pre-show match Santino Marella defeated The Miz in a US title defence. Was otherwise a good show and am interested to see how this leads to the OVER THE LIMIT PPV at the end of May.
